Dead Poets Society

In 1989 Lara Flynn Boyle was hired to play a small part in Peter Weirs blockbuster Dead Poets Society. You don't remember her in this masterpiece of filmwork, do you? Most of her scenes were cut off of the final movie with only tiny appearances left. Beside this version there exists another one which has been aired on USA Network. It contains a big sequence in which a 19-years-old Lara can show her talent. Unfortunately, the quality isn't the best but it will at least give you a rough idea of what the scene was like. By the way, I found it on Crazy Dave's Peter Weir Cave. His website also provides a transcript of this scene (scene three). And if you want to take a deeper look just click on the following mov.file. It's 2.9 Mb and runs 2:53. For watching it you just need the quicktime player. All the other scenes - without Lara, of course - are located on this site.
